4x3 & 16x9 PAL Digital Betacam
An excellent camera, still considered "The Reference" and arguably the last camera model Sony built properly. This one
is special, it's set up to BBC standard, and has the rare (preventative) BBC/ Sony edge
board conversion, is serviced by BBC Engineering and comes with a recently calibrated and serviced broadcast
Fujinon 15 x 8 BERM zoom + doubler and pan bar zoom command. This camera is so well respected that there's
little need to describe it further.
JVC GY-HD201E HDV, native HD 16x9 at: 24p 25p 30p 50p 60p (PAL or NTSC) PAL DV, DVCam true 16x9
or 4x3 at 25p or 50i. Equipped with a Fujinon zoom lens and wide and super wide or to take my existing ARRIFLEX Schneider
Kreuznach cinema lenses.

This is the much liked DV, HDV and HD camera that's been chosen while re-equipping
a number of important television channels.
In short, it has a potent codec, excellent native 16x9 1,110,000 pixel captors and with
the JVC optical adaptor, mounts seriously good Arriflex prime movie lenses. When used with this camera's
ability to invert the movie lens image at capture, they offer their original and genuine "Film Look".
The GY-HD 201E camera/ lens combination is a real break through. It has the growing ability to record to
any format you need (including Solid State chip, HDD and now XDCAM EX to SXS Memory card, plus of course
to archive proven tape.
